If you are interested in science, diseases, or if you are just looking for a good book to read for school. Gregory Goodfellow's Epilepsy book is highly recommended if you are undecided on the next book you should read. I did not know that prior to 12 years ago, Epilepsy affected 3 million Americans and 40 million people worldwide. It's probably much higher now. I believed the consequences of Epilepsies were life threatening until I read this book, apparently seizures caused by Epilepsy is not and can be easily treated with medications and someone who has a seizure at a young age can have only a small chance of not getting one again if they are treated for the condition properly. From reading this book, you also can find out about what kind of medications and surgeries are available for individuals affected by Epilepsy. Anyone considering taking up their career in Biology or even Chemistry will find those parts of the book to be very interesting.Overall, it's a very good read. Hopefully, Epilepsy can be rarer in the future.
