What an amazing book, I like to read the paragraphs that are very nicely written, beautiful high quality close ups and detailed images.Very sad that some of the sites he visited and photographed are destroyed, vanishing..this book makes me want to dive and see all these wonders by my selfGreat work, great book, I would have paid much more for itMy 5 1/2 y old daughter is also fascinated so we sometimes read at night her favorite pictures
I already knew the book from our local library and wanted to get a copy to pass along to a friend, but first I'm going to keep it around a while just to enjoy it again. Amazing photos, all beautiful, some humorous, some scary - assembled over a long career in underwater photography in different parts of the world. The spare accompanying text makes clear what is in such immediate peril of loss from ocean acidification and global warming, thus the beauty is modulated by serious concern for its and our future. The seller delivered exactly as promised, at a frighteningly low price.

I received this book and after I read it, I felt like I had been in the ocean, the photographs are simply stunning, from sea life, to sharks, to ocean reefs, you name it, it is in there, I can not really do this book justice for how good it is, I HIGHLY recommend this book, TWO THUMBS UP!!
I love this book. So many great photos. I plan or using it as a picture book for my child one day (I don't have children yet). I loved this type of thing as a kid so I'm sure my child will too. So many neat creatures under the sea.
This book contains 365 of the fine photos now available to the arm chair scuba diver. Each picture is also provided with a description on the facing page. Some pictures are close-ups, and some are distant shots, but most are full-figure portraits of reef residents. A nice edition to my book shelf of fish pictures.
What a beautiful book of photographs! These pictures are truly breathe taking and is very well bound together. I had been looking for photos to hang on my wall and instead of paying $30 a print, I found this book. I have another copy to display on my coffee table. Very lovely!
