the book was printing status is awful. I accidently split my water just a bit, but it blurred too bad. Basically you are paying 70 dollars for low quality copy. I would rather use copies from my own printer.
This is a great book for beginner conductors. All areas of conducting are well explained and demonstrated through graphs and pictures of proper technique. Well worth the study.
I needed this book for conducting class, and it wasn't what I expected (in a good way). There's much more to conducting that I thought, and his book goes into great detail about it. It's a little dense, but still a good resource to have. If your serious about orchestral music, this is a book to have in your collection.

I do not think this is a good book. The diagrams are not great because the patterns are not very good. The editing on the music is also not very good and sometimes there is to much for such a short work. I would go with a better book like the Rudolph.
It's a good book. Great for anyone who is going to conduct a choral or instrumental group!
